Summer Dregs has been commissioned by dance companies around the country to write original music for original choreography. These works have played everywhere from NYC to Paris to Rwanda. He has also worked on films including the NAACP Image Award Winning How to Sue The Klan, and the The Most Memorable Art. Commercials he’s scored include Office Depot, Oral-B, and Samsung.
How To Sue the Klan
This documentary of how five Black women used legal ingenuity to take on the Ku Klux Klan in a case still cited in courtrooms to this day.
Awards include an NAACP Image Award, a Harlem IFF Award and was the official selection at dozens of Oscar qualifying film festivals. It has aired on both PBS and Aljazeera English.
