Summer Dregs is an Emmy and NAACP Image Award-winning composer, sound engineer, and producer. The name covers the work - scoring films and ballets, producing and mixing for recording artists, and writing for brand campaigns - but the practice underneath is consistent: bring unique music to life alongside the people making it.

Summer Dregs started by touring with jazz-fusion and old soul outfits. When the drive to blend beats, classical, and experimental pop could no longer be contained in a single band, Summer Dregs became the name for everything that came next. The penchant for reckless ecstasy, neon synths, and collaboration has led to work with Nick Lutsko, Bbymutha, Ballet Counterpointe, Ben Crump (How to Sue The Klan), Mon Rovia, and Sunny War.

The neighborhood around the studio has worked its way into the music more than once. Rising Action was an art installation built from neighbors' voices. The Sound of Clean took the everyday noises of a neighborhood - bottles, sirens, tires - and rendered them the way Summer Dregs actually hears them: beautiful.
